W.A.S.P.

I LOVE W.A.S.P.!
It was June i think and i was preparing for my exam when i felt i needed a brake. You know all this stress and shit eating me alive.
So what i did was to get down to the record store and buy their self-title depute...W.A.S.P.!
At that time i had have heard about this band and the name Blackie Lawless did seemed familiar although i  did not heard any of their songs.
So as i said earlier i did my self a favor and i purchased their depute.
I went back home and inserted this pup into my system.
Boy did i loved this?
I knew that this was one of my favorite bands when i heard the first 30 seconds of Animal (Fuck Like a Beast)!
Right after....I Wanna Be Somebody...how much closer could they have gotten to me? To what i feel?
This was Definitely the opposite of a buzz-kill this was a Boner!
Then i heard the crimson idol and felt shivers through me.
This album is heavenly made maybe one of the best Heavy Metal albums ever recorded.
This was a concept album about the life and death of a rock star who run-away from home, it deserves to be listened to.
Although i would like it (that's a lie) i can't talk about the bands discography. The Crimson Idol and W.A.S.P. are a MUST for every collection and every self-respected metalhead should give it a try. These are the things about W.A.S.P.
1: They have balls
2: Legendary performances (Earlie days). They threw raw meet at the crowd yum!
3: Legendary Ballads (they even got ballads with balls)
4: More balls, Blackie's voice is awesome!
5: Early Days: Beer, party and chasing women
6: Post-Headless Children: More political stuff...bigger balls.
The dark side is that i went to their concert last October in Athens...it sucked.
The sound was bad.
They only played 13 songs and the show lasted for 1 hour and 10 mins.
And there are rumors that Blackie's voice is taped.
Anyway this is a band that makes great studio albums with their last one being Tits. Its called Babylon.

Guitar Choice (Fender Stratocaster versus Gibson SG 61' reissue)

The Time has finally come for me to buy a new electric guitar! Yes an expensive one!
Problem is i don't know what guitar.
I have busted my ass for a year now and now i am on a dilemma.
Should it be the Gibson SG? (61' reissue model) or a Fender Stratocaster?(American made...the deluxe model)
I play lots of music (mostly focusing on hard rock) and i love both guitars.
Problem with the SG is that i won't be able to install a tremolo but it's not like it's the most vital thing for me.
These "mama's" are so different! This SG model i gotta say has the thinnest neck Gibson has to offer.

And then there is alway the Stratocaster...

Hereafter (2010)

Hereafter is a movie by Clint Eastwood, (that American Guy with the six-shooter and the weird hat).
It is a Nice Movie.
The plot focuses on three people, each one of them has a different relationship with death.
A French TV star, an American medium and a working class British Boy.
The movie follows the characters who search for the truth in their lives. Each one of them has just faced death (or the death of others) and are running away from it trying to lead their lives.
It's a very nicely made movie and i would not ask for my money back.
It's a movie that may stimulate your brain but don't ask for too much oh and it's not full of religion propaganda as somebody may believe.
I give it a 7 minus (out of 10).
